WARNING:  THE SOFTWARE IN THIS DIRECTORY IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT AND MAY NOT BE CORRECT.


This directory is intended to be used for almost-ready-for-prime-time software.  It 
provides an easy way to distribute software to a wide group for beta-testing. 


This directory is not included in your IDL path by default.


To include the routines in the dev directories in your IDL path, type the following 
after entering IDL (and before compiling any RHESSI routines):

add_path, '$SSW/hessi/dev', /expand     ; this include all of the dirs under dev in your path
add_path, '$SSW/hessi/dev/xyz'          ; this includes just the dev/xyz directory in your path

add_path puts the added directories at the beginning of your IDL path, so they will be 
searched first for .pro files.
