The Synoptic Data Widget is a tool for retrieving and displaying synoptic data sets written by Dominic Zarro (EIT).  Click here for a complete description of the tool.

This widget is activated when you click File / 'Retrieve/Process Data' / 'Synoptic, Other' in the Main GUI Window.  It can also be run standalone by typing show_synop at the SSWIDL command line.

Note: the search function requires access to the Internet.  If your computer is not connected to the network, then you are limited to viewing data files you previously downloaded to your computer (if any).
