Hi,I am a seventh grade student at R.H. Terrell Jr. High School. All this week my classmates and I have been going to the sunbeams program. As you know it is at NASA and we do all kind of hands on activties that we don't usualy get to do at school. And as an extra bonous we got to go to the 40th anniversary parade. We also got to see a model size mock up of the Hubble space telescope. In closing I think all kids should get the oppertunity that I did because it is a wonderful program (I am the one with the blue shirt and red hat in the picture ) By.
Hi, I am a member of the SUNBEAMS program. I am 13 yaers old in the 7th grade I am attending R.H. Terrell Jr. High. So far I learned about the sun and other stars, galaxys, black holes, and magnifying things. This program is a really good program for kids to learn about different things in space.
Now I'm going to tell you what I learned, the sun is made up of a big ball of gas and feum. If it run out of feum it and other stars will explode. The galaxy is made of a bunch of stars. Black holes are formed when stars die and it explodes and make like a ring. Well that's what I learned so far. So until then peace in the middle east.
