What a View!

I am a student from R.H. Terrell Junior High School. My first trip to NASA was fun and educational. We learned many new things that we did not know at school. We learned about the moon, the stars and the Sun. We made a telescope and interviewed Dr. Wood and Dr. Jo. Dr. Wood talked to us about the Hubble Space Telescope. We learned that when light hits a mirror at an angle, it will bounce off of the mirror at the same angle. We learned about the parts of the Sun. The Sun's light keeps Earth from being dark. The Sun's energy comes from a reaction in its core. We learned how to use light from the Sun to identify elements present in the Sun. We learned how to read people's minds by using number cards. I had a nice time during my trip to NASA. I would like to thank Dr. Wood, Mrs. Stokes, and Ms. Waynes.
