All students will be taking the Satern Basic IT test at https://satern.nasa.gov/elms/learner/login.jsp.

 Wait to receive an email from Satern stating your username and access code. After that, follow the instructions, like clicking onto the Basic IT Learning plan, you can view it in HTML format, text format or video. I like to print it out, read it and then answer the questions on the test. You need to pass the test with a 70% score. It's easy, but it is detail orientated, some questions can be tricky so read them through carefully. You can take as long as you like to answer the questions.

Take the test and print out the certificate prior to arriving on your first day at Goddard. If you cannot print your certificate, don't worry we will print it out when you arrive. Taking the test will allow you to work on your first day on NASA's computers. No one can work on a computer without taking this test first.
