I graduated from Queen's University, Belfast in the summer of 2000 with a first class MSci honours in Physics with Astrophysics. In September 2000, I started a Phd entitled
I'm still involved in several solar projects running in the solar group. The main project of my PhD was searching for oscillations in the chromosphere, using multi-wavelength observations taken at the Dunn Solar Telescope, NSO/Sacramento Peak. This work was extended into the Transition Region. The statistical tools used in this project, and the extended use of IDL involved, are also used in the other areas of research in the solar group. A full description of the areas where I am involved can be found on the projects page. This project has been further extended using better data, and wavelet phase analysis by Shaun Bloomfield
