I got a bachelor degree in Physics from the Nanjing Normal University, China,  in 1992. 

I obtained a master degree in Physics from the  Nanjing Normal University in 1995. My thesis was titled “Distribution of Transverse Momentum and EMC Effect”. 

I was an assistant professor in Nanjing University of Posts & Telecommunications, China, from 1995 -1999. 

I came to The Catholic University of America in 1999. 

I got a doctoral degree in Physics in November 2004.   

Since 2001, I have been studying solar flares at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt,  Maryland. 

Currently I am analyzing the hard X-ray data from the Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopy Imager (RHESSI).
