Useful Commands

ifconfig
Determine which coLinux network adapters are running.

df -h
disk space usage

gnome-terminal&
Opens additional xterminal windows from the coLinux console. Requires an X server application on Windows. A few short cuts are listed here:

• Ctrl-Shift-c                               copy text
• Ctrl-Shift-v                               paste text
• Ctrl-Shift-t                                create a new terminal tab in the same window.
• Ctrl-Shift-w                              close current tab
• Ctr-PageUp/Ctr-PageDown      move between tabs

system-config-rootpassword
Change the root password. This screenshot demonstrates system-config-rootpassword being run from within gnome-terminal.

Create, modify or delete users and groups

system-config-securitylevel
Graphical interface for managing coLinux firewall settings.

system-config-services
Graphical interface for starting and stopping services.

yumex
Graphical interface for adding, removing and keeping coLinux software up-to-date.
