1. Spectroscopy interface.
A. Port hessi to spex code as it exists. This is not a major job
since all of the needed tools are ready.
B. Develop new spectroscopy interface. Gets easier as Kim builds
more general tools, but this job requires a good month of solace.
Includes more support for gamma ray spectroscopy.
C. XSPEC export - straightforward.
D. OSSE import - basic tool is straightforward.

2. New modulation pattern tools using dr and dtheta fovs. The first
part of the job which is to formulate the sin and cos coefficients
should be easy, but undoubtedly will be difficult. After that most of
the job falls to Andre.

3. Dead time reader - straightforward. Probably take a week working in
and out of other tasks.

4. Dead time interpreter - a collaboration with David Smith. The hard
part will be making the tool agree with the measurements for all of the
detectors.

The two major tasks are the spectroscopy tools and the new modulation
patterns. With the new modulation patterns we'll have to create new
keywords. The new spectroscopy tools and interface can be all
consuming, the priority will be to create the port into the existing
software and functionally support gamma-ray spectroscopy before
developing the more friendly interface.
