Tohban report, 24-apr-2005 to 01-may-2005 Abigail Goodhue agoodhue@ssl.berkeley.edu 1) Solar Activity: The background has increased this week, to a level varying from B2-B3, due to an increase in activity from Active Region 0756. How many GOES flares occurred? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 39 7 0 0 And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 14 5 0 0 And how many had EXCELLENT coverage? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 10 2 0 0 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 44 / 46 over the time range 24-Apr-05 01-May-05 The two largest flares of the week were a C 5.3 flare that occurred on 26-Apr at 04:19 UT, and a C 3.0 flare that occurred on 28-Apr at 02:23 UT. We got coverage on both of these. 2) Memory Managment: The fill level increased over the last few days, up to a fill level just over 50%. This is probably due to an increase in background level. We will stop taking data in the front segments at night, and see if the fill level drops. 3) Data Gaps: There were a few bad packets this week, so small gaps were registered.
