Tohban report, 3-May-2006 to 10-May-2006 Hugh Hudson, hhudson@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity One C-class flare, but too high a background level to think about quiet-Sun observations. How many GOES flares occurred? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 14 1 0 0 And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 3 1 0 0 And how many had EXCELLENT coverage? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 2 1 0 0 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 17 / 15 over the time range 02-May-06 09-May-06 The "farside" activity monitor, found at http://soi.stanford.edu/data/full_farside/latest.syn.gif or via the Tohban Live link, has substantially improved. It seems now to show several active regions, so we might see something next week. Or, maybe not. 2. Memory Managment Memory fill level oscillated between 30-50% all week. This is too high because of decimation losses, we should do something about it. 3.
