1. Solar Activity: 

A little old cycle active region (AR10983) popped out into the middle of
the disk a few days ago. It hasn't done much. That combine with some other
stuff that's recently rotated onto the disk resulted in the quiet sun
offpointing being stopped early (27-Feb-08 02:00:00).

So the sun is not quiet but not flaring either, just dull.
