RHESSI Tohban report, 2008-Jul-23 to 2008-Jul-30 Lindsay Glesener, glesener@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity Very quiet Sun, no active regions. 2. Off Pointing RHESSI had been in off pointing mode since June 17 and began the re-acquisition of the Sun on Tuesday, July 29 at 0758 UT. Just after re-pointing to the Sun, there was a spin anomaly for ~4 hours. The spin rate is currently stable at 14.57 rpm. Currently, RHESSI is pointing at the Sun with normal/active decimation and attenuator logic enabled. 3. Memory Management The off pointing allowed a catchup on downlinking of data that had piled up during the BGS downtime. (BGS is now back to full operation.) The catchup is almost complete, with the SSR currently 13.72% full. 4. Data Gaps: Gaps could be due to BGS downtime. Spacecraft Operations The cold plate temperatures have dropped down from the unusually high values seen in the last few months. Current temperatures for cold plates 1 and 2 are 94.987 K and 93.649 K. A request was made to bring down the HV on detector 8 by 8 steps. 6. Next Tohban: Amir Caspi
