RHESSI Tohban report, 13-Aug-2008 to 20-Aug-2008 Pascal Saint-Hilaire, shilaire@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity The Sun has been very very quiet (generally well below A1) 2. Memory Management We are off-pointing (since Aug. 13th), and are in crab decimation mode (but not taking front segment data at night). As per David Smith's experiment (in place since Aug. 7th), the rear segments are being decimated in only the south magnetic zone and not the north magnetic zone to allow for increased TGF sensitivity over the US. SSR basically doesn't get over 20%, and is at 0% at the end of daily passes. 3. Data Gaps DATA GAPS FOR 2008/08/18 TIME RANGE: 2008-08-18T00:00:00.000 -- 2008-08-19T00:00:00.000 NO GAPS IN APP_ID = 1 (VC1-SOH) NO GAPS IN APP_ID = 154 (VC1-PMTRAS) GAPS IN APP_ID = 102 (VC3-MONITOR RATES) WITH PACKET RATE LT 30 N_GAPS 1 GAP START TIME GAP END TIME GAP (SEC) 2008-08-18T00:15:00.000 -- 2008-08-18T01:50:00.000 5700.0000 Two BGS passes were dropped, and apparently this data has been replayed. 4. Spacecraft Operations The spacecraft was spun up on August 6. The voltage on detector 6 was lowered by 6 steps and remains segmented. 5. MISC. -no high-voltage commands -On-line state-of-Health plots (http://sprg.ssl.berkeley.edu/hessiops/state-of-health/2008/226/index.html) for 2008/08/13 and after are non-existent. -We should go back to sun-pointing this Friday. 6.
