Solar Activity

Sunspots crossed the disk, but were not very active. The star event was SOL2010-12-06T06:39 (C5.3), well observed by RHESSI and also Fermi - see this Browser link. There is an interesting glitch here - it looks like neither a flare nor a GRB really. Also there is a series of soft X-ray pulses, likely not solar, on several orbits starting with this one; they are suspiciously near RHESSI crossings of the terrestrial equator.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 9 1 0 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 5 1 0 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 3 0 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 25 / 10 over the time range 08-Dec-10 15-Dec-10

Memory Management

The tohban this week forgot all about the operations meeting, even though he had been keeping an eye on things. We hope that this unprecedented memory failure was a common single-event upset and apologize to all.

Data Gaps

No data gaps of importance were found.
