Solar Activity

Lots of activity, 2 X flares. more than 20 M flares,

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      0    51    21     2

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      0    35    17     2

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      0    20     9     1

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 415 / 74 over the time range 20-Sep-11 27-Sep-11


Plenty of small stuff.

RHESSI Operations

Decimation was normal/vigorous until 26-Sep, when it was changed to Active/Vigorous. Both Front and Rear detector events are turned off during eclipses, except for 4 minutes before and after daytime. SSR fill is at 0.0% at the end of the most recent set of passes. Decimation will be reset to Normal/Vigorous now.

Noise in Detector 8

Much noise in D8 from 3 to 16UT on 22-sep-2011, and at about 5UT on the 27th.

Data Gaps

VC3 Gaps:

These have been traced to WHM contacts that have not yet been processed. These will be filled in shortly.
