Solar Activity

There wasn't much solar activity this week, there were 2 C class fares in the past two days. There are currently 6 active regions on disk, with 4 set to rotate off the limb within a few days.


How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      21    14     0     0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      16     9     0     0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

Memory Management

The SSR max this week was 40% and had a minimum of 5%. It is currently at 5%.

Spacecraft Status

Detector 8's voltage was lowered by 8 additional counts on 2012-05-23 at 23:58:05 UT to remedy the high count rates seen in previous days. The voltage is now at 193 counts, 3750V. The high count rates in Detector 8 has improved.

On 2012-05-24 the ADP stopped reporting the correct SAS sun vector. The ADP was reset and the error was cleared. The SAS system is now working correctly.

Data Gaps

There might be a data gap on 2012-05-29 from 18:00:00-00:00:00 UT. The SSL power outage has made the quicklook plots inaccessible for that time range and it cannot be confirmed at this time if the data was filled in.
