Written 27-Jun-2024 by Kim Tolbert The Solar Flare Finder is a database produced by retrospectively searching archival databases for solar flares jointly observed by GOES, RHESSI, Hinode, SDO, and IRIS. These directories contain the plots showing time profiles and image overlays of flares observed by multiple instruments. These plots are displayed in the RHESSI Browser when Cross-Mission Synoptic is enabled. An SSWIDL routine called 'solar_flare_finder' is also available to interactively access the database and search for flares of different magnitudes and energies that were observed by various combinations of instruments. Please see https://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/sff/sff_doc.pdf for a full explanation.
