***************************************************************************** 1. The BATSE database is behind schedule because of the problems with the tape recorder on GRO. As of 3/23/92 the latest data we have is from 3/9/92. Personnel at Huntsville are writing code to correct the data and hope to have new data available soon. 2. For those users who copy files from ISIS without logging onto ISIS (and therefore need to know locations of files): A new disk was installed on ISIS for storing the BATSE data. In order to keep the large quantities of data online in an organized fashion, we have separated the different types of files into different subdirectories. The logical name BATSE$DATA points to a search list of the subdirectories so you don't have to know the names of the subdirectories, but instead of specifying ISIS::BATDISK:[BATSE] as before, you must now specify ISIS::BATSE$DATA. For example, the general help file previously was specified by ISIS::BATDISK:[BATSE]HELP_GENERAL.TXT and is now specified by ISIS::BATSE$DATA:HELP_GENERAL.TXT *****************************************************************************
