BATSE Data Facility Node Change

The on-line CGRO/BATSE solar data base and quick-look facility maintained at
Goddard Space Flight Center is being moved to a different computer node.  ISIS,
the MicroVAX 3400 currently in use, is being retired and replaced by a DEC 4000
Model 610 AXP.  Users should notice a great improvement in speed.  The new
computer will be known as SDAC (sdac.gsfc.nasa.gov), NSI/DECnet address 15.526, 
IP (Internet) address 128.183.57.156.  This change will take place toward
the end of August or in early September.  A message will be mailed to BATSE 
users when the change actually occurs.   

To log on after the node change has occurred:

SPAN users      - Type     SET HOST SDAC  or  SET HOST 15886 
                           Respond to username prompt by typing    BATSE

INTERNET users  - Type     telnet sdac.gsfc.nasa.gov  or
                           telnet 128.183.57.156
                           Respond to username prompt by typing    BATSE
