An aspect solution is needed for computing offax_position. If you are creating an SRM for a period during which there is no aspect solution, you should turn off compute_offax_position so that the SRM creation doesn't abort. You can set offax_position manually (by retrieving it for a nearby time that does have an aspect solution and setting it in your object) if you think it's an important factor.
