This directory contains the routines, scripts, save files, etc. that Richard Schwartz was working on to improve the RHESSI
roll solution and create a roll database for the entire RHESSI mission (the previous roll database covered only Feb-2002 
through Nov-2003).

Richard died before finishing this project.  We have put in hessi/atest (to be promoted later) any routines that he was
working on that replace already existing routines and put in this directory (hessi/roll_db_dev) all the other routines,
scripts, save files, etc that he had in his working directories, including both intermediate checking routines as well as
final routines that may be called by the routines in other hessi/idl directories. We thought it might be useful to see 
the tests that he did and ideas that he tried in case someone needs to revisit this project.

Using Richard's modified routines we created a roll database for the full mission and put it online in July 2021.
