7 & 8. Subareas

Two subareas can be specified for a frame. Each must be a proper
subarea of the CCD area readout. The widget choices and what they
mean are listed below. For further details on how the image extraction
is done, consult the control document on the TRACE Web page.

pointing reference -  this specifies the reference for the center
of the subarea. It can be (1) absolute, (2) previous, (3) I max,
(4) I min, or (5) slaved to the pointing table.
