The flare loop model for 3-100 keV was then used to compute finite-photon countrate response profiles for a 2-s period using the 9 HESSI collimators. The results are shown for the 5 keV and 30-keV bands (nominally 1 keV wide), in the figure below. The circle shows the half power HESSI point spread function.
